Media & Communications Specialist - IT (8-15 yrs)

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and leverage key industry events, product launches, and milestones for communication opportunities.
4. Work with stakeholders to cultivate relationships with relevant media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and placements.
5. Monitor industry news and trends to identify potential opportunities for thought leadership articles and proactive communication.
6. Manage crisis communications by drafting statements, managing inquiries, and coordinating responses when necessary.
7. Drive internal communication initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and information dissemination across the organization.
8. Produce and distribute regular internal newsletters, keeping employees informed about company updates, achievements, and industry insights.
9. Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

1. Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably within the technology or data center industry.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various audiences.
3. Proficiency in content creation, including writing, editing, and designing visually appealing materials.
