Roles & Responsibilities: - Formulate and execute the comp & benefits philosophy across the zones in India (North, east, west, south). - Be abreast of all major contemporary comp related issues, local labour laws, regulations, benchmarks. - Analyse the market data based on which, advise recommendations as appropriate. - Design, implement and deliver range of comp programs which includes merit increase, bonus, incentives etc, corresponding communications. - Actively manage benefits space, ensuring the renewals, benefit designs and implements (GMC, GTL, GPA, WCP,any health & wellness related programs and non-monetary benefits) - Responsible for compensation budgeting, controlling and monetary cost. Payroll: - Understanding the fundamentals of payroll management, Operations database during employee life cycle and attendance and exit process. Guide the team for execution. (as per rules, mechanism, policies and processes) - Communication btw internal stakeholders and cross functional payroll team (IT, Admin, Finance, Vendors) for payroll processing and validation of input and output by analyzing the variances of pay registers and concluding the payroll for the month. Work with the external payroll partner in a timely manager and Give clear instructions. Compliance: - Manage In-house compliance by liaising with taxes, legal, labour and statut departments. - Overseeing shops & commm estbl (SMCE) registrations, licences, amendments, monthly remittance of payment challans and returns with appropriate govt. departments. - Manage internal and external audit pertaining to statu, payroll and compensation audits. - Responsible for reports and dashboards pertaining to compensation, statut, payroll. - Coaching and guiding the team wrt to roles responsibilities and tasks assigned to team. - Reward and retain top talent in the org (tangible and intangible rewards, career enhancements, l&d, r&d) Key Results and Outcomes driven by this role: - Benefits - all communicated benefits should be up and running (eg: GMC) - Comp - To ensure the comp is paid out as per defined metrics and regulatory guidelines in a timely manner. As per budgets- comp can be defined, employee motivation - rewarding the employees on time, in sync with regulatory guidelines. - Payroll - Timely payouts as per policies
