Requirements:- - 4+ years experience of working on advanced optimization problems like Scheduling, Production Planning, Network Planning, Routing etc. is a must - Thorough conceptual clarity of concepts such as Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, Constraint Programming, Heuristics search, etc. - Programming experience in R / Python /Julia and Excel VBA and proficiency with any optimization software like Pyomo, Open-Solver etc. - Hands on experience with any simulation software like Arena, AnyLogic etc. - Hands-on experience of working with commercial solvers like What- sBest, CPLEX, Gurobi is a plus - Stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate and work with senior management effectively - Familiarity with core statistical concepts (e.g., correlation, regressions, confidence intervals, etc.) is good to have but not essential - Commercial client-facing project experience is helpful, including working in close-knit teams - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentoring and training junior members in the team - Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
