McCain - Regional Manager - Sales - North Food Service (10-15 yrs)

This position is responsible for identifying and achieving the business objectives, forecasting future opportunities mobilizing/motivating teams and ensuring the business objectives are met through focused sales effort on a different environments for a city or for a state (responsibilities vary by the size of the business being managed) in the North Zone. The position has to grow the market share and ensure category growths in line with the Annual Business Plan.

The position reports into Head of Sales and Marketing for Food Service, QSR & MBU.

- Develop McCain business in the states of North India to achieve short and long term objectives along with planning and leading new business opportunities. Responsible for planning and driving sales revenue in designated channel/city or state.

- Identify, analyze and report all sales opportunities and forecasts for the designated area.

- Have an eye for Market Intelligence / Key Competitor activities monitoring and report the same to Marketing Teams for appropriate actions.

- Have Growth Plans ready per customer for the next 3 years

- Engage with Customers and maintain excellent relationship with them to develop sales and marketing strategies for a win-win situation for McCain and them

- Efficient distribution and sales management by identifying opportunities for a better distribution mechanism. Lead process for aligning existing distributors with business objectives and goals and guide and monitor team towards distribution opportunity mapping and identifying solution partner. Establish objectives and processes for distributor appointment and manage and structure key points of operation around distribution management like ROI, investment components, margins, the scope of business growth

- Forecasting and budgeting the area-wise sales opportunities and costs.

- Coordinate with sales and marketing staff for brand building, signage and liaise with various agencies for trade marketing opportunities.

- Profiling, third-party payroll management of merchandise, along with business generation.

- Initiating and coordinating BTL activation.

- Select, manage and direct team members to successfully and efficiently achieve assigned business objectives.

- Effective mentoring, development and succession planning for the territory and people.
