The role holder is expected to have strong leadership skills to cater to the demand from the business with highest customer service standards at best possible cost. - The position holder will be expected to - strategically - strengthen Demand and Supply Planning, S&amp;OP processes, Frozen distribution network expansion and management while leading a team with strong leadership skills. - Role holder to ensure efficient and dimensioned operations supply chain activities including: end to end network optimization, physical logistics, planning/scheduling, materials management, and flow, in order to meet expected customer service while meeting or exceeding inventory and logistics cost targets. - The incumbent has to drive a culture of accountability and results through process, system, strategy deployment and effective performance management Roles and Responsibilities &amp; Key Deliverables : - The position holder will be expected to - strategically- strengthen Demand and Supply Planning, S&amp;OP processes, Frozen distribution network expansion and management, build and support SC automation projects that can transform the SC function, while leading a large team with strong leadership skills. - Additionally bringing in best practices, develop systems &amp; processes around Procurement and Distribution, Service to sales oragnization, Inventory Management, Distribution and Storage costs are the key deliverables. - To lead the efforts of profitability and efficiency of entire India supply chain, including but not limited to planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing. Drive manufacturing and inventory excellence with Contract Manufacturing Partners, Service excellence for National and International customers. - To lead the development of a robust S&amp;OP process for India. Ensuring it becomes a - contact sport- and that each month leadership is held accountable for striving for balance in Demand and Supply against the Service Operating Strategy and Inventory Targets. - To lead the capacity planning process helping the organization identify the new capacity requirements based on the line utilization - To lead and champion SC talent - To lead and / or oversee the storage requirements and Inventory management ensuring both availability of optimum storage space within a manageable spend. Work closely with Procurement in ensuring appropriate vendor base is built to accomplish this outcome. - To drive best practices, processes, disciplines, systems and metrics across the function by leveraging ERP (SAP) and advanced planning systems to enable best practice operating efficiencies. - To manage and be accountable for all India Supply Chain budgets. - To lead the delivery of identified savings opportunities for all supply chain activity within their region (efficiency and pricing enablers). - To build a process of optimum Inventory which is a great balance between supply, production and has least stock out situations, additionally supporting in Working Capital management - To drive the import/export process efficiently including managing KSEAT requirements Detailed Role Specifications : Demand Forecasting, Production and Supply planning - Ensure inventory availability in line with Demand buoyancy, production and plant requirements, Understand and translate market dynamics to quality R 18 forecasts - MRP/ MPS for Direct material planning Order Management Automation: Measure : - MAPE Accuracy and Bias per S&amp;OP Scorecard. - Supply Coordination and Procurement of Raw/Pack excluding Potato - Lead in Pre-S&amp;OP and S&amp;OP. - Report gap analysis for missed cases to Demand Meeting. Measure - Publish S&amp;OP minutes and review scorecard and develop/review S&amp;OP Deck monthly. - SLOB actions/ SKU reduction Actions - Casefill - Inventory Management :DIOH and 6 quarter Rolling Forecast. - Procurement Savings vs. Std and in absolute. Organization capability building - Own the responsibility for strengthening Demand Management skills. - Recruiting (with Sales), staffing and succession planning for the Demand and supply planning team. - Own the S&amp;OP calendar. Measure - Publish annual Meeting Calendar for S&amp;OP Process. Import/Export - Coodinate all inbound and Outbound Freight . Capital Equipment, Raw/Pack, FG's for McCain Inter Company and Export Sales to KSEAT. Measure - On Time vs. - ETA, Casefill % Distribution - Manage Daily Distribution Network Operations. - Study and propose Optimal Network if any. Measure - Logisitcs Network (Freight/Distribtion) cost/Kg.
