Job Role:

- Excellent understanding of Power BI ecosystem (server, platforms etc.), ability to manage end to end deliverables with minimal supervision and excellent presentation skills.

- Candidate would be responsible for delivery of all analytics led projects undertaken for this top priority customer.

- Projects would include the following, though not limited to, since it's an evolving role: Reporting & Dashboarding (PBI), Direct Data Source connection to PBI dashboard, Value generating Analytic

- Use cases involving data science and Statistical forecasting / modeling.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Gather reporting requirements from various stakeholders, architect the solution/report, Understand/analyze the source data and deliver the reports in timely manner

- Strong expertise in Designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data driven decisions

- Well versed with Power BI admin responsibilities

- Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning, and optimization of dashboards

- Experience in publishing and sharing the dashboards, scheduling data refreshes

- Should have handled complexity around visualization or data.

- Strong Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.

- Strong understanding of Power BI user and group security configuration

- Strong understanding of data warehousing techniques and data modelling, including Advanced DAX scripting and ETL skills.

- Knowledge of Power BI integration with Python and R is a must

- Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions (analytic reports and dashboards) using Power BI

- Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements for BI solutions.

- Design and create data visualizations and reports according to user requirements and integrate into existing applications.

- Work with business stakeholders to identify the important KPIs and drive discussion on the visuals suited for the dashboards.

- Develop and maintain queries using Qlik Sense to provide customized data and should have experience of working in large datasets (high volume data).

- Should have knowledge working on map features in Qlik, Drill Down and Roll up functionalities.

- Develop Procedures, functions, SSIS packages, SSRS reports & SSAS cubes

- Drives consistent data continuity & common KPIs using out of box solutions

- Play a key role contributing to the development of complex dashboards, embedded analytic solutions, and other strategic initiatives

- Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.

- Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.

- Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

- Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as SAP, SAP BW, Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, Power BI, SQL database, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Logic App

- Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation.

- Development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on target platforms (Cloud/On-premise)

- Enhancement of existing data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices

- Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation and performance tuning

- Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (SQL, AWS/Azure) required.

- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts
