Job Description- Officer/Assistant Manager- HR

The Human Resource Officer/AM is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions.

Role Summary : Provide general day-to-day HR support in relation to all HR, Recruitment, Induction, Employee Benefits, Training and Development, Payroll Management and other administration (as necessary), all in compliance with statutory obligations and best practice.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities :

- Management of recruitment and selection activities for technical, professional and managerial level positions to include formulation of job descriptions, advertising and management of interview process.

- Manage and co-ordinate manpower planning in line with company expansion.

- Lead and manage various HR projects as directed by the Human Resources Manager and in line with HR objectives.

- Monitor staff performance and attendance activities.

- Inform unsuccessful applicants.

- Perform other related duties as required.

- Assisting the HR Manager with generalist HR matters, including reviewing and developing relevant IMFL Policies and Procedures and providing advice in relation to employee performance, conduct and absence management

- Managing and maintaining personnel files and other employee information.

- Developing an induction programme for new employees.

- Coordinating and administering training and development programmes and liaising with external training bodies as required.

- Administration and co-ordination of internal training programmes.

- Providing administrative support as required.

- Serving as a point person for all new employee questions

- Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system.

- Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators.

- Performing payroll & benefits audits and recommending any correction action.

- Conduct exit interviews.

- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
