JOB SUMMARY :

- Ensuring that all Marketing material of the Company are compliant to marketing guidelines issues by IRDA.

- Assisting and coordinating on implementation of new regulation, doing research work on regulatory interpretation and regulations, ensuring timely regulatory filings

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

I. Compliant Marketing material

a. Coordinating with Products and Marketing team on all new marketing material

b. Ensuring that all marketing material/advertisements of the company are compliant to IRDAI regulations.

c. IRDA filings of Marketing material

II. Regulatory Coordination & Interpretation

a. Develop, Maintain and Update of Regulatory Inventory: Creation, maintenance and regular updation of repository of IRDA Regulations, Guidelines and Circulars and other laws on Compliance software (COMS) and defining responsibilities (Organograms) in agreement with respective functions

b. Assisting in interpretation and dissemination of any new guidelines or any changes in the existing guidelines issued by IRDA

c. Closely working with requisite stakeholders for implementation of new regulations through effective management of cross-functional team designed for this purpose

d. Doing research work and assisting on giving opinions to various functions on various matters involving compliance inputs to ensure adherence to new regulatory requirements

e. Regulatory Interface: Coordinating and ensuring necessary Interacting with IRDAI and Life Council for any query resolution, clarification, representation, etc.

f. Timely submission of regulatory reportings to various authorities on both regular and ad-hoc basis by coordinating with all the stockholders

Measures of Success :

- Assisting in ensuring that that all new IRDA regulations are timely implemented

- Assisting in effective Regulatory communication

- Compliant marketing material with no outages

a. Products and Marketing team

b. Finance, Operations and Distribution

- Auditors

External: IRDAI, Peer Insurers

Key competencies/skills required :

- Excellent Communication skills

- Ability to read and interpret the IRDA regulations and Laws

- Communication & Collaboration with departments

- Result oriented and Go getter

Desired qualification and experience :

- Bachelors/Post Graduate degree in any discipline

- 5 -7 years of relevant experience

- Previous experience in the area of Business Compliances and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
