Position : State Head - Sales (B2B)

A one stop solution for all wedding requirements, Matrimony Bazaar is India's first and largest market place with over 5000 Wedding service providers, The customer will find everything he/she needs to plan a perfect wedding, right from Mandaps, to Caterers, Decorators, Bridal Make-up, Photography, Apparel, Jewellery, and Honeymoon Package etc.,

Role Overview:

The State Head Sales is responsible for monitoring and managing team of Sales executives thru ASM/DSMs for Mbazaar.com, ensuring Sales lead generation and conversion into sales leading to revenue generation, Responsible for revenue generation and lead the growth and transformation of respective state of India, Responsible for Corporate/High value Revenue thru personal productivity by identifying relevant vendor base for various wedding services provided by Matrimony Bazaar in the form of Business leads, Conversions and Company Listings on www.matrimonybazaar.com,

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading MBazaar.com sales teams across state to meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets by promoting best practices, tools and techniques for exceptional sales performance

- Aim for both topline and bottom-line growth and improve productivity per person

- Development of sales metrics and reporting capabilities that support productive, focused sales management discussions and activities

- Monitoring and managing a team of sales executives and driving productivity thru ASMs/DSMs on day to day basis

- Segregating and assigning leads to all the team members

- Ensuring that the executives meet the daily/weekly/monthly targets and sending reports to the manager on regular basis

- Periodically reviewing the performance of the team, driving metrics around individual performance, attrition, quality, number of calls, Meetings, Prospects being generated by the team, ensure 100% accuracy on reports and projections

- Constantly motivating executives driving them towards achieving incentives and controlling attrition

- Responsible for hiring, training and development of the team members, Identifying training needs and highlighting the same

- Develop good and cooperative working relationships with Vendor and maintaining them over a period of time

- Ensure best practices in the sales process

- Lead the client servicing team also to ensure high renewal rates

- Ability to meticulously generate and manage pipeline and conversions

- Vendor experience and successful complaint handling; proper response without time lag to Vendors

- Analyzing sales statistics and trends to determine business growth potential and focus

- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing promoting and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control

- Detailed report on weekly achievement Vis a Vis the targets

Education and Experience:

- Graduate in any specialization with MBA preferably from a reputed institute, and a minimum 9 - 12 years- experience in B2B Sales (minimum 3 to 5 years of Team handling & corporate sales experience required).

- Candidate with exposure in various sectors like Ad Sales, Media Sales, and online Sales preferred.
