Overview

This position provides leadership to our product roadmap development team. This team is responsible for the development of the global multi-tenant Cards Payments processing platform. The person will need to closely work with the global products, strategic program management, quality engineering, business operations and customer delivery leaders.

Role

- Provide leadership to the product engineering and roadmap development teams.

- Define architectural roadmap for a global multi-tenant product.

- Define and review engineering practices geared for developing a cloud native software platform.

- Communication of goals, objectives, performance and, as necessary, improvement plans.

- Review, approve and ensure the implementation of new or revised development and operational processes.

- Provide appropriate resources and budget to deliver timely, effective, efficient and predictable roadmap releases and continuing improvement of performance.

- Respond to operational and business concerns or issues relative to future business programs, projects, or enhancements to ensure consistent delivery of quality services.

- Ensure approved staffing levels are maintained, departmental and staff education, training and cross training needs are met.

All About You

- Experience managing multiple functional areas. At least 5 years in Banking or Payment Processing Software Products.

- Experience developing and managing departmental budgets covering multiple discipline areas.

- Formal business or management training including Project Management, Financial Management and Strategic Planning.

- Understanding of and extensive experience with Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies.

- Proven ability to lead large complex projects and the ability to work effectively with all areas within Global Technology Operations, Corporate Groups and outside solution providers.

- Proven verbal and written communications skills are a requirement for this role and experience with the following deliverables is critical: requirements documents, design documents, and project financial analysis.
