Job Title

Java Consultant, Experience working in Core Java with Advanced framework and Payment domain knowledge

Overview:

- Building high quality payment processing solutions.

- Assists in defining the key elements / design necessary for successfully managing development and support activities

- Managing security best practices in product design and architecture

- Assists in defining department objectives, keeping them in line with company goals. Assist to ensure that projects are managed within approved scope conforming to manpower and timeline framework.

Role:

Major Accountabilities:

- Performs assigned tasks in the product development life cycle

- Contribute in brainstorming sessions with product management teams to elaborate business requirements

- Own high and low level design of the business requirements

- Participates in the development of functional specifications and requirements for specific products

- Assist architecture team in defining architectural roadmaps and own the implementation of NFR (Non Functional Requirements)

- Provides information to technical developers on translating product requirements into technical specifications

- Leverages analysis performed by lower level colleagues to develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders on the product functionality design

- Evaluates the need for and organizes prototype development

- Monitors the efficiency of functional design and contributes to continuous improvement

- Supports product launches and implementations

- Provides expertise and guidance to customer delivery group for functionality understanding and product trainings

- Participate in product presentations wherever required

- Experience working with internal colleagues across functions and job families and leveraging internal resources

- Develops and monitors product delivery roadmaps for specific products and segments of the product development life cycle

- Generates new and innovative product solutions that support corporate or product/segment strategy

- Defines and monitors the compliance of the product with interchange compliance

- Analyze and implement needs for product security and performance improvement

- Monitors appropriate use of and compliance with the New Product Development/Go-To-Market process for products within a scope of responsibility

- Having agile knowledge will be of added advantage.

All About You:

Education:

- BE Degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.

Knowledge / Experience:

- Strong experience in payment domain with extensive work on Acquiring side

- Worked on all or some of the channels - ATM, BNA, POS, Kiosk, Payment Gateway etc

- Worked on all or some of technologies in cards - magnetic stripe, chip, contactless etc

- Good knowledge of either Java or Oracle platforms.
