Role :

- Identify, recruit and maintain top talent

- Formally supervise and coach a large team, comprised of technology leaders.

- Is responsible for business execution of goals and objectives.

- Ensures team compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal process

- Provides strategic leadership related to specific applications and systems, or software-development methodologies

- Creates and sustains an environment of ingenuity and creativity and challenges the status quo to encourage innovation

- Manages assigned portfolio budget

- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with business partners

- Effectively communicate to and collaborate with management, business owners, and other stake holders

- Ensure and maintain quality of the products

- Assist in the evaluation of 3rd parties and 3rd party products.

- Participate in creating and maintaining technology roadmaps.

Required capabilities :

- Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.

- Highly proficient Java/J2ee, Systems Architect

- Intermediate knowledge of front-end HTML/CSS/JavaScript

- Very with Relational Databases such as Oracle and good understanding of PL-SQL

- Proficiency working with Git, SVN

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies including Agile is required.

- Advanced experience in related field, including experience in delivering secure solutions in Financial Services Sector is preferred.

- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - and strong relationship, collaboration skills and organizational skills

- Understanding of CI/CD

- Understanding of 12 factor app development
