Job Description Summary : 

Overview : 

- This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage projects and partnerships in South Asia aimed at driving Financial Inclusion. The main responsibility would be to drive and grow our Aadhaar ASA business.

- As an Authentication Service Agency, we enable Authentication and eKYC transactions for our partner Authentication User Agencies, including governments and banks, which in turn helps in efficient distribution of subsidies and bank account set up for the financially underserved/unserved. The incumbent will be required to partner with Government entities, banks, fintechs & internal cross functional teams to scale this business and launch new capabilities including Aadhaar authenticated payments.

- The candidate would also be expected to lead other projects in Financial Inclusion and develop partnership opportunities of strategic importance in this domain.

- The position requires a self-motivated, commercially pragmatic business manager with strong relationship management and influencing skills.

Role/Responsibilities :

This is a people manager role reporting into the Vice President, Market Development, South Asia, and entails significant cross functional interaction. 


Primary responsibilities include:

- Build Mastercard's UIDAI ASA services to scale, expand customer base, meet transaction and revenue targets

- Identify and execute other Financial Inclusion opportunities in India, such as Donations Platform, with support from country/regional/global team

- Primary responsibility to manage UIDAI and customer relationships

- Bring Project Management discipline and strong execution focus

- Candidate must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines, including technology, operations, sales, product, marketing, compliance and risk.

- Self-driven, organized and pro-active with ability to multi-task

- Entrepreneurial and commercially focused

- Strong influencing skills

- Experience in the following areas would be preferred:

- Business Development

- Account Management

- Managing Financial Inclusion projects

- BFSI / Payments industry experience

- Post Graduate, MBA preferred
