MAS Financial Services - Assistant Vice President - Sales & Marketing - SME Segment (7-18 yrs)

Leadership:

- Lead and manage all activities within SME sales segment; inclusive of account management, customer support and field marketing

- Sets departmental KPI's and evaluate the effectiveness of the sales initiatives, making appropriate changes that encourage achievement of SME sales and targets

- Mentor key personnel in the department, ensuring their constant professional growth, and provide required support to them in the execution of their duties where necessary

Strategy:

- Spearhead SME department's strategy development initiatives, ensuring that they remain consistent with the business's overall strategy

- Increase revenue through the design and implementation of appropriate strategies for SME vertical

- Design, implement, and manage the sales process, ranging from relationship development and contract finalization

- Execute efficiently with a view of selling SME range of products in order to achieve the business revenue targets

Analytics:

- Conduct business, performance, and competitive analysis

- Track and review actual sales results, weighing them against the set targets and business KPI's in order to determine the effectiveness of sales initiatives and implement necessary changes and solutions

- Forecasting and monitoring sales performance and business compliance

- Articulate the results of the analysis in reports, presentations, and recommendations to key stakeholders

- Synthesize reports for financial feasibility studies in order to determine sales growth and revenue targets for the sales department

Knowledge and Opportunity:

- Maintain a stable knowledge base of the business industry, competitors, and regulatory activity

- Conduct regular research, keep up with trends and best practices, which give the business a competitive edge, and keep the business at par with some of the biggest players in the market

- Implement new and well-researched sales initiatives, strategies, and solutions

- Identify top talent and contribute to the recruitment of key sales personnel, hence, maintaining efficient and effective execution of duties within the sales department

Relationships:

- Establish relationships with key personnel within the business market

- Maintain long term relationships with key consumers, potential consumers, and key strategic partners

- Negotiating sales and business development transactions inclusive of licenses, transaction agreements, subscription agreements, and partnerships

Collaboration:

- Work closely with other executive officers and advise them on sales strategies, forecasting, and general management issues in order to align the business efforts, avoid conflict of interests, and enable the achievement of the business overall goals and targets

- Work with the Human Resource Development department in order to determine the criteria for recruiting key personnel in the department in order to guarantee high performance within the department

- Work closely with the Collection/ recovery team to identify overdue payments of the clients and serve as liaison between recovery team and clients as and when required

Candidate Profile:

- Master level degree

- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience

- Deep understanding of NBFC industry - SME Segment

Behavioral Competencies:

- Team work, an analytical, strong aptitude for concerned position

- Ability to think and act independently in the best interests of the company

- Willing to multi task and work under pressure

Role Specific Competencies:

- Excellent communication and quantitative skills.

- Very good command over verbal and written English.

- Ability to deliver quality deliverables within tight deadlines

- Strong command over MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
