Marsh McLennan Global Services (MMGS) India is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office

Manager - Global PMO

What can you expect?

- Owns and manages tasks/assignments relating to Marsh Global PMO governance and reporting activities, reports to Head - Group BPM with matrix relationships with Global PMO Team

- Leads the production of Delivery/Change governance materials at portfolio, program and project levels (e.g. presentations, dashboards, MI)

- Reviews, challenges and assures a projects delivery against plan and corresponding artefacts including Status Reports, Plans, Risks, Issues, Dependencies, Actions, Assumptions, Budget, Benefits and Change Requests

- Supports governance secretariat activities conducted by Global PMO Team including development of business cases and requests for investment

- Establishes and builds effective working relationships with Regional Heads of Change and Project Managers

- Works collaboratively with Finance to challenge, finalise and sign off portfolio / programs / project cost and benefit reporting and MI

- Responsible to ensure portfolio / program / project information is available in complete, accurate, timely and consistent manner - one repository with single version of the truth, socialized and shared with stakeholders in line with Change governance cadence

- Develops and maintains relationship with Project Managers and Project Coordinators, and is a trusted point of contact for consulting on all aspects of the Change portfolio including Super User of portfolio tool (Planview)

- Works collaboratively with Finance SMEs to ensure cost and benefit information in the tool is accurate and fit for purpose

- Promotes and drives adherence to Delivery/Change Portfolio governance, reporting, processes, standards and controls

What you need to have:

- Experience in project or PMO related roles (preferable minimum experience 8+ years)

- 5+ years of experience in management consulting roles or equivalent, currently operating at a Manager level or above

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience of operating in Global environment, engaging with teams across different counties

- Experience of designing and writing reports / presentations to Senior Execs to communicate key messages and drive decision making in a simple, clear, concise and efficient manner

- Strong analytical and story-telling skills

- Strong analytical, PowerPoint and Excel skills

- Commercial focus, management of costs to budget and management of change control

- Experienced and fluent in Delivery/Change Portfolio Management Office role, responsibilities, processes and controls

- Experience of working within a matrixed environment

- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services

What makes you stand out?

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA desirable

- Prince2, PMP, Agile or equivalent certification

- Experience in using project management and collaboration tools including MSP, JIRA, SharePoint or Confluence. Knowledge of Planview desirable

- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services desirable
