Job Description:
Books of Accounts & Document Management : Periodic review of the trial balance to ensure compliance with company
Statutory Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance with zero non-compliance, on time deposit of tax payable (TDS & GST), correct filing of returns matching with books of accounts, closing tax assessments within a year, identifying potential tax liability, Implement system of under various statute applicable to factory(Recording & Reporting), liasioning with to Income tax & GST notices & preparing data for scrutiny cases
Financial Strategy: To look after financial strategies, policies, and plans in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
Financial Reporting: Present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts to the CEO.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide regular forecasts to guide decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Cash Management: Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and optimize the use of surplus funds.
Audit: Deal with statutory auditors and ensure timely completion of various audits i.e. Internal & External audits and Tax.
Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements, and manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including insurance, hedging, and financial instruments.
Treasury Management: Oversee investment strategies and manage the organization's capital structure. Liasioning with banks & NBFCs
Cost Management: Implement cost control measures and strategies to optimize expenses while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Receivable/ Payable Management: Monthly Overdue tracking and to ensure take corrective measures to avoid bad / doubtful debts.
Financial Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.
Financial Systems: Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team in long-term strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Creditors Management :
- Manage Creditors reconciliation, creditors claim at least once a year or twice a year for major Creditor along with balance confirmation.
- Continuous system of update recording of and settling within 15 days of receiving the claim.
- Continuous system of ensuring that no supplier commitment is unrecorded in books.
- Review of open POs and drive closure of POs > 90 days.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Assess and execute financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including due diligence and integration planning
