Strategic Partner:
- Serve as a member of the senior finance leadership team and as a key partner to the COO and CFO in the development of strategic plans; ensure the linkage of those plans to annual budgets and forecasts.
Operational Business Partner:
- Upgrade the financial infrastructure. Help the leadership team drive business results. Recommend actions for operational improvement as appropriate. Assess resource requirements and financial impacts of new business initiatives (e.g., new products, geographic expansion, pricing), weighing in on which initiatives should have priority, and partnering with the senior leadership team to execute.
- Provide relevant and timely analysis, competitive benchmarks and business insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Partner with business leaders to develop operating plans. Develop and review financial forecasts with senior management to ensure business performance is in line with expectations. Develop and manage performance dashboards, including measures and metrics to monitor and analyze business. Provide financial and business decision leadership support for both ongoing business and the development of new growth opportunities.
M&A/Business Development:
- Support the evaluation of M&A and other business development opportunities through due diligence, financial modelling and integration of acquired businesses.
Team leadership:
- Provide strong leadership in the recruitment and development of top-quality financial talent to ensure the finance organization has a high level of performance and productivity. Instil a culture that emphasises speed, accountability, and innovation across the enterprise.
- Continually reinforce a culture of business integrity, ethics, and compliance.

- Partner effectively with the executive leadership team to build the business and drive continued growth, profitability, and commercial success for the company.
- Drive an even greater level of financial sophistication throughout the operations of the entire company, especially with respect to operating finance, budgets, planning/analysis, and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile:
IDEAL EXPERIENCE:
- Proven Finance Director/Senior Finance Director/VP with listed company experience
- 15+ years of finance experience with the last 5+ years as FD/VP of a listed company with a technology orientation.
- Experience across Business Finance, FP&A and M&A
- Significant functional competence across all several aspects of finance including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting. ERP experience would be nice to have.
- Growth and business mindset
- Growth and problem solver mindset. Experience with dynamic, global, and high-growth businesses.
Education pedigree - CA or MBA from Tier 1 institute
