MarketPulse Knowledge Networks Private Limited is a start-up social enterprise that aims to be a knowledge hub for the social sector and for people who would like to bring about a positive social change in the society.

MarketPulse has been promoted by management graduates from premier institutes in the social sector like IIFM, TISS, IRMA and JNU with long and diverse experience in the social sector.

Profile Description :

- MarketPulse is looking to engage a Marketing and Business Development Consultant to promote the brand and market its service offerings like consulting, advisory, training, research, publications and event management to the industry as a whole and generate business leads for new assignments.

- It will involve preparing marketing and promotional material, preparing project proposals, bidding for advertised assignments, responding to RFPs and EOIs, pitching to potential clients like donors, bilateral and multilateral institutions, CSR divisions of corporates, governments and government departments, institutions working in the social sector, NGOs etc. through proposals and presentations.

This is a home based consultant position which may require some travel to pitch to potential clients at some times.

Candidate Profile :

- An ideal candidate for the above role will typically have the following profile:

- A postgraduate in any field from a reputed institution

- Minimum 5 years experience

- Demonstrated experience of generating leads and business; having done so for start-up enterprises highly desirable

- Demonstrated ability to write winning proposals, prepare a winning pitch and make compelling presentations

- Very good communication skills, both oral and written

- Knowledge of social sector organisations and issues is highly desirable

- Having good network and relationships in the industry that maybe leveraged to get assignments
