- The core purpose of this role is to take ownership of the brand and drive it forward, building awareness and sales across all key geographical markets via ecommerce and through retailer channels both physical and ecommerce. This role will manage the operations of the marketing team based in the Mumbai office and will be senior member of the India team.


Client Details:

Our client is a leading Personal Care company and operates with manufacturing facilities and offices across Auckland, Mumbai, Melbourne, etc. It is one of most dynamic and fastest-growing manufacturing companies in developing plant based personal care material. They have an ever-increasing India footprint and are headquartered out of Mumbai in India. They are looking at significantly expanding their brand portfolio and are looking to hire a Brand Manager to fuel and sustain that growth for the business across India, New Zealand and USA.

Description:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the person will:

- Take ownership of the brand, growing the profile, awareness, and sales across key geographical markets - New Zealand, India and United States

- Manage the ongoing brand marketing process from planning to implementation


- Be the driving force in developing a premium personal care brand and taking it to the next level


- Become the guardian and subject matter expert of the brand.


- Manage the operations of the Mumbai based marketing team.


- Build and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships both internally and externally.


- Interest in sustainability and ethical marketing and experience in navigating the risks of claims and

greenwash would be highly regarded


Profile :

Brand management and strong all-round marketing experience (both B2C and B2B) with a minimum of six years marketing experience in a commercially focused organization/business. Strong educational background, a degree in marketing/business from an internationally recognized institution will be highly regarded.


A background in sustainably focused products and ethical marketing would be highly regarded. Experience in consumer E-com/direct marketing would be highly beneficial. Team leading and staff management skills along with a high degree of commercial acumen is important. First class communication skills both written and oral, is a must along with strong experience managing a successfully agency relationships.
