- Owner of the Brand in India. He / She has the responsibilities for managing the brand's marketing strategy and execution. The role will entail the following: - Develop and execute Brand plans in collaboration with sales &amp; agency partners (Creative, Media etc.). - Lead Innovations to develop consumer qualified marketing mix (Product, Price, Packaging, Communication, Media and Distribution) in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders within and outside India and agency partners. - Develop Positioning &amp; Communication for key brands &amp; Innovations to generate trials &amp; maintain saliency. - Undertake regular progress reviews to update, amend plans and ensure defined KPIs are met. - Managing ATL / DME spends for the Brands. - Drive marketing processes in tune with Global Mandates. The role requires strong leadership, thinking / problem solving capability, well-developed marketing and sales skills that can develop and implement the brand marketing plans to achieve defined KPI results : sales, share, profit and consumer KPI results. The candidate must have a keen knowledge of the environment including: a) The general external and internal trends impacting the business; b) The competitive assessment, and c) A deep and thorough understanding of both consumers and customers. - To effectively perform the role, he or she requires strong analytical skills to sort through complex data to make well-reasoned conclusions that translate the learning into sound strategic direction and business plans / actions on advertising, promotion, product / packaging innovations, pricing, retail programs, and other key programs that could affect the short and long term profitability and share position of the brands. - The role also mandates strong communication skills to liaise key stakeholders across sub-regions and countries. He or she is directly accountable for sales and share growth, financial health, short-term and long-term equity and imagery development of the trademarks.
