Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators

1. Marketing


- Prepare and implement marketing budget and plan for restaurants (annual, six-monthly, and monthly)

- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the restaurants stay ahead in the local market

- Develop, implement, and monitor creative local marketing channels

- Launch promotions or special activations as per plan (minimum 2 per month per location)

- Brand ads, promotional material, and restaurant sales support collaterals design through design agency/freelance designer/vendor (as per plan)

- Print coordination of the material with the purchase department / vendor (as per release date)

- Restaurant branding material / signage / branded vehicle to be checked regularly (fixing / changing the same as and when required)

- Brand tie-ups (minimum 1 per month per location)

- Tie-ups with banks

- Event Management

- Advertising deals

- Barter associations

- Email Marketing

- Photo Shoots (as & when required)

Seamless integration with Operations Regular conference calls on important subjects:

- Every new promotion starts with an Ideation note to be circulated to all concerned

- Organise a call for brainstorming and arriving at a countdown list of activities to be done with the person responsible and timelines

- Follow it up with a concept note, as the first step of initiating any promotion

- Analysis of Guest Comments and Feedback

2. Public Relations


- Content Creation for Press Release

- To check if the work has been done against the scope of work, and other terms as per contract; if not, necessary deductions to be made in the invoice, which are to be duly agreed by the PR agency, and then communicate the same to accounts

- Coordination with the PR agency (if any) or directly with the media to ensure periodic coverage

- Coordination with operations on industry story quotes and recipes

- Media meets for Principals or company news launches

- Entertaining of Media for PR barter

- Media Gifting

- Coordination and closure on the monthly PR plan over Marketing activities

3. Implementation of New Menu


- Concept note needs to be made

- Photo shoot

- Designing a menu

- Plan and budget on launch activities- all mediums

- All collateral creatives to be shared

- Social media plan to be shared

- PR plan to be shared

- Food Tastings to be organised for the internal marketing team and PR agency and media, and bloggers.

4. Digital Marketing

- Monthly social media campaigns

- Coordination with the agency on the execution of campaigns

- Online ad campaigning

- Online reputation management

- Monthly Trend reports

- App development (if required)

- Emailer creation

- Cross online marketing with popular online properties

- Website development, management & enhancement on a regular basis- new promotions, change of information etc (includes updating new menu)

5. Strategy

- Launch, implementation and smooth running of CRM loyalty programs

- Half yearly marketing plan plus presentation to all concerned (with budgeted spend) for each unit and at network level every March and every September

- Quarterly presentations of Marketing update to our principals (Brand Owners)

- Quarterly evaluation of Design agency, Digital agency and PR agency to ensure work is done as per the scope of work pre-defined

- Intelligent and thoughtful evaluation of tangible and intangible benefits of each promotion including incorporating learnings for improvisation and deciding whether to discontinue it or repeat it for the next season

- Half yearly evaluation of the marketing team, role and the organization chart

- Mentoring, coaching of team members for building their individual capabilities to enable their independent working and review of team work by periodic, structured interventions

- Network Wide Marketing

- Marketing incentive programs

- Research/dipsticks

6. Launch Planning

- Pre and Post launch planning

- Strategic tie-ups for previews

- Corporate, socialite and media invites

- Photo-shoots

- Corporate tie-ups

- Party coordination

- Media entertainment and coordination

- Press Kit and Announcement release creation

- Mall Marketing Signage space closure

7. General Duties

- To understand completely & conform to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

- To give unconditional support to new openings for all RSC team members

- To report for duty punctually wearing appropriate attire

- To be fully conversant with the geographical layout of the operation

- To maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene at all times

- Follow clean-as-you-go policy and keep work area clean at all times.

- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with units, RSC and all other departments and suppliers

- To provide courteous, professional, attentive and efficient service at all times towards internal & external customers

- To attend and contribute to functional and inter-functional meetings and other related activities

- Be willing and open to transfer across companies / locations as per work exigencies

- Be open to cross functional training/movement at all times

- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

- Be fully conversant with our departmental / inter-departmental processes, Quality checks, and Fire safety procedures
