1 Overview

1.1 Intellect

Intellect Global Transaction Banking (iGTB) is the transaction banking division of Intellect and its biggest division. Formed in 1985, Intellect has grown under the continuing stewardship of its Chairman, Arun Jain, who takes a personal, family-style approach to the business. The iGTB division was formed with a London HQ by the charismatic Manish Maakan, who has brought in a highly respected team of world class banking experts: one large bank recently stated - you understand transaction banking better than we do!-

Intellect prides itself on its world class domain knowledge, its deep reserve of interconnected IP (not a medley of acquisitions), its increasing client referenceability with measurable benefits and its growing delivery excellence with its register of - zero defect in UAT- clients. It is underpinned by a flexible approach, an emphasis on passion and working across boundaries and a mentoring, learning culture.

1.2 Marketing

- Since iGTB's inception in 2013, bringing together all the transaction banking assets of Intellect that had existed for many years, it has had a strong belief in marketing and both the CEO and the Chairman take a personal interest. It has a strong and influential marketing arm, led by Phil Cantor, its CMO, whose background covers all aspects of both banking and of software.

- It is now the right time to move into a new phase of iGTB Marketing, to bring a strong professionalism, industrialism, modernism and scale. The aim is to move from points of brilliance to brilliance as routine.

- To achieve this, iGTB are looking for exceptional individuals who will thrive in an agile business where immense freedom is given but superb results expected. The specific roles on offer is:

- Marketing Specialist. Based in Mumbai, you will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

Note: The client base is an intimate, B2B (in fact B2B2B) marketplace. This is not a mass market marketing role. We aim to provide services to the top 300 banks in the world, aiming to ensure the key 5-10 or so individuals in each one understands and acts based on the unique value we bring. This means we are targeting a community of only a few thousand, senior people, many of whom we know. Candidates will need to be able to show they can work in this marketing environment.

Superb English and a sense of layout are essential to all roles as is passion and energy.

2 Marketing Specialist

Location: Mumbai

2.1 Responsibilities

- This role is responsible for reaching those 1,500-3,000 decision makers worldwide and ensuring they all know who we are, what we offer and what is special about us. Specifically, that whenever they look for a solution in the transaction banking space they contact us.

- We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and confident Marketing Specialist to help us in our overall marketing efforts.

- You should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in marketing concepts, principles and tactics. Our ideal candidate works closely with sales teams and can manage the relationship between marketing and sales to ensure that both sides are optimized to deliver (marketing's role) and work (sales' role) the highest quality leads.

- It is not vital for this individual to have transaction banking or even banking experience but must be able to understand and articulate the proposition at a first discussion. Experience in mass market marketing might be useful to bring to bear but it is critical the individual can understand what will work in the intimate B2B2B market.

The individual will be responsible for:

- Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns

- Conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences

- Devising and presenting ideas and strategies

- Promotional activities

- Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information

- Writing and proofreading creative copy

- Updating databases and using a customer relationship management system

- Coordinating internal marketing and an organization's culture

- Monitoring, data analytics and reporting on marketing performance

- Organizing events and product exhibitions

2.2 KEY Requirements & skills

- The ideal candidate will be passionate for the - art- of marketing and will have an abundance of ideas for building efficient strategies

- He/she must bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques and methods to promote our products, services and public image

- The goal is to reach out to the market and cultivate the customer's interest in our products and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth

- Energy, enthusiasm and passion are mandatory requirements

- Self-starting, able to work to outcomes without needing high maintenance oversight

- Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels

- Strong analytic, research, and interpersonal skills & experience with reporting & data analysis

- Demonstrable ability to create excitement, both internally and externally

- Good articulate persuasive English and a good sense of graphical design

- High impact and influence. Self-critical and self-correcting


Salary Offered : 10-14 Lakhs.
