Marketing Manager / Brand Manager - Schools / Office Supplies to drive growth from 50 cr to 300+cr. based Mumbai

The Group : (About the Group):

Our client is a mid-size high growth group into training/education & allied businesses - School supplies, Transport, etc.

The group is planning to grow from 500 to 2000+ cr. in next 3 yrs by growing its allied Businesses from captive to open market.

The Organization (About the Client):

30 cr. captive school supplies company with over 1000 SKUs. Planned to grow more than 5 times in 3 Yrs.

A seasoned CEO has taken over & is building the team for this venture.

Job Description :

To lead the marketing charge to grow from captive 50 cr / 1000 SKUs to 300+cr / 3000+ SKUs in next 3 yrs;

1. Market mapping, segmentation, sizing, determining market growth, drivers, dynamics, and trends.

2. Competition mapping, market intelligence, and gap analysis.

3. Customer / Consumer research for insights that can be inputs for marketing decision making.

4. Developing segment-specific category strategy to deliver against business goals.

5. Developing integrated and effective communication and promotional program.

6. Implement go to market plans to create awareness, preference, and purchase.

7. Develop annual marketing calendar.

8. Measure and improve customer satisfaction scores by working with other stakeholders to improve stickiness and size.

9. Develop programs in conjunction with other stake holders that strong relationship with customer and supplier partners.

The Person (Candidate Details) :

Education and Experience

a) MBA or equivalent from a good B- School with specialization in Marketing. Should manage all India geographically spread sales team

b) 5-7 years of experience In Brand Management with well-known companies and brands in the - back to school- or related category.

c) Related marketing experience in online eCommerce or retail organizations would also be relevant.

Competence / Skills:

a) Strong communication skills - ability to understand, ability to influence, negotiation and cross- organizational collaboration.

b) Result and solution orientation.

c) Customer / consumer focus.

d) Financial acumen- focus on value creation

e) Creative and out of box thinking.

Work Experience: (Range) 5 - 7 years
