Market Risk Manager - Commodity

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to FX hedging and investment management activities for AMNS by active contribution in team discussions and forming an own view backed by thorough research/data points.

- Analyze and interpret financial, economic, and market data sets to identify potential impact on different asset class FX, Commodities , Fixed Income.

- Keep track of global , economic & geo-political events.

- Engage extensively with counterparties (Banks, MFs, Trading Houses etc) for accessing long term views on FX, commodities, Fixed Income and keep the management/senior leadership updated.

- Contribute to existing automation initiatives for the Front office team. Understand , review and looks for areas/processes which could be automated and work towards implementation.

- Support the Front office team to prepare regular & ad hoc MISes for management/leadership.

- Work closely with Middle office for seeking approvals on new product, hedging instrument etc.

- Liaise with Middle Office team to track the overall exposures on FX, commodities.

- Support on review/enhancement of Treasury policies and procedures.

- Assisting in tracking multiple internal limits under different Treasury policies and take appropriate action as and when required in terms of enhancements.

- To Stay updated on regulatory changes w.r.t to Treasury Front office aspects.

- Build connects with procurement teams, Treasury Operations and Account teams for holistic exchange of information and data sharing.

Qualifications/Skill Set Requirement:

- MBA/CA/ICWA, with Treasury experience of 3 to 5 Years

- Deep Understanding of financial markets

- Prior experience in Treasury Front Office roles (FX, Investments related transactions).

- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives including accounting.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Well versed with Bloomberg.

- Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).

- Should be a keen learner and must have aptitude/willingness to learn new skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
