- Familiarity and hands on experience with overall corporate entity background verification processes based on data intelligence tools
- Work with large amounts of complex data and information and distill those to uncover behaviours as well as trends in corporate behavior to identify potential fraudulent activity
- Proven track record of analyzing financial transactions, accounting records, and other data to identify potential fraudulent activity such as expense irregularities/invoice scams/asset misappropriation
- Hands on experience of having utilised specialized software, techniques to identify trends, anamolies, and patterns in financial/transactional/operational data that could point to potential fraud
- Perusal of field intelligence reports/comprehensive case file that outlines findings, supporting documentation, evidences, witness statements and event timelines and assimilate those findings to draw a sound conclusion on the riskiness of the customer for the Bank
- Proven ability in analysis of complex financial, transaction and organizational web data to identify anomalies', spot inconsistencies and potential red flags to derive logical conclusions
- Experience in managing time and the pipeline of tasks, effectively, to deliver on the team's priorities and objectives
- Develop creative solutions to challenges presented by fraud mitigation endeavours leveraging outside the box thinking, wherever needed
- Able to respond effectively to diverse tasks and to emerging critical issues needing urgent action
- Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge with respect to fraud mitigation approaches and collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement preventive measures for fraud including any policy prescriptions and enhanced internal controls, if and wherever applicable
- Conduct of interviews with employees, vendors and customers discreetly to gather relevant information and corroborate suspicions, would be an added advantage
