Margin Funding - Risk - Equity Broking


Responsibilities:

1. Formulate Policy & manage Risk function for margin funding and LAS for ultra HNIs. Should have knowledge of both secured and unsecured lending.

2. Do Portfolio Reviews, Credit Reviews and providing timely feedback to the Relationship Managers for taking necessary corrective actions.

3. Handling Credit evaluation (pre & post sanction), Verification of Documents, Sanction & Disbursement of Loans & delinquency analysis and providing decision for sanction and disbursement.

4. Formulation of new products in line with the ongoing Business requirements & creation of process manuals.

5. Manage operations, Compliance & Internal Audit function of the NBFC.

6. Managing margin calls, exception reports and monitoring accounts for accuracy and sufficient collateral.

7. Assist the finance team in capital raising for the NBFC

8. Strong understanding of Margin requirements, collateral lists and changes and haircuts to be applied related to margin funding.

9. Monitoring and oversight of client margin accounts for trading and concentration risk

10. Provide regular reporting to senior management

Ideal candidate:

1. 10 plus years of relevant work experience

2. Strong understanding of margin funding product both NBFC led and SEBI broker margin funding

3. Ability to lead a team and handle compliances, back office and risk management related to margin funding.

4. Detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to identifying risk.

5. Hands on experience in raising debt from banks, FIs and back-to-back arrangements from other NBFCs would be preferable.

6. A person of proven professional competency and managerial ability at the corporate level

7. Good commercial and business acumen.

8. Strong Leadership, networking & negotiation skills

9. Candidate must have decent communication skills both oral & written.
