Job Purpose To align technology vision with business strategy, ensuring development and implementation of technology systems, maintaining existing enterprise systems and robust data and knowledge management processes and providing direction to all technology aspects cutting across information, communication and automation. Job Responsibilities - To define an ICT strategy to support and accentuate implementation of the business strategy in line with market practices. - To liaise with Functional Heads to understand technology needs and identify and deliver solutions to meet their needs. - To identify the new technologies / tools to support the ICT strategy implementation. - To plan budget for IT activities across the business units and locations along with the annual budgeting process. - Lead design, development &amp; maintenance of the business applications including EPR (modernizing the legacy systems). - To set procurement policies and vendor base that ensure cost efficient procurement of IT Infrastructure and services - hardware and software. - To ensure periodic maintenance of the IT infrastructure and timely and quality support for users. - To support IT operations and maintain zero downtime through efficient processes and SLAs. - To be the custodian of the company's intellectual property, information, data, infrastructure, network systems, hardware/software systems by implementing a sound security and access control framework. - To set policies and procedures that act as guidelines for continuous automation of efficiency gaps. - To spearhead change management initiatives in collaboration with MMG for adoption of new or improved IT processes and/or procedures across the organization. - To retain and engage the talent employed and build a collaborative and high performance team - Collaborate and engage with the industry SMEs / platforms and plan specific interventions to meet the changing needs of the business. - Support Talent strategy and culture building initiatives which are based on our core values.
