Qualification and Experience :
- Post Graduate Engineer with about 5-10 years post qualification experience in manufacturing.
- Must have a strong track record in either/or automobile, consumer durables
Competencies :
- Have a strategic outlook towards manufacturing and ability to drive process/systemic changes
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes,purchase processes.
- Strong planning, analytical ability and knowledge of having worked on ERP based integrated manufacturing modules
- Ability to train, develop and lead a team; manage conflicts within and outside the function
- Good communication skills and persuasive abilities to handle internal and external customers
- Promote appreciation and integration of cross functional priorities and requirements
- Knowledge of innovative manufacturing processes will serve as an added advantage for the applicant
Job Description :
- Develop all necessary procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the factory.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure that the factory has the necessary resources to meet business objectives
- Strong Production Planning to deliver KRA and targets.
- Managing the Budget, Monitor and maintain the plant operational expenses
- Planning & execution of all operations while meeting Statutory Compliance.
- Minimizing performance bottlenecks /downtime for achieving high productivity
- Review and ensure compliance to all requirements of plant related statutes.
- Industrial Relations Management; maintain cordial industrial atmosphere, facilitate negotiation of wage revisions and bonus, review matters connected with discipline and guide the plant HR on major issues.
- Manage Environment Health and Safety concerns; address issues related to Industrial health & Hygiene and Safety and liase with top pollution control authorities.
- Handle Manpower Planning; implement all management initiatives with respect to Hiring, Training, Retention and Performance Appraisal.
- Focus on improving customer service by improving their on-time delivery performance, service quality & flexibility by reducing cycle times to drive various localization initiatives.
