Mantri Developers - Senior Manager - Legal - Mall Operations (4-8 yrs)

Overall Responsibilities:

a. Lease Deed: Preparing lease deed draft, sending the filled in Lease Deed draft as per signed LOI leasing department, coordinating with the retailer's legal team on the legal clauses to be changed or edited, accompany Leasing team for critical retailer meetings where Legal assistance is required.

b. Surrender of Lease: Drafting Surrender Deed, including coordinating with the retailer for execution of this deed.

c. Addendum Agreement: Coordinating with the retailer on legal aspects for Addendum Agreement, Arranging stamp papers for Addendum agreement.

d. Legal Notice & Caveat: Preparing Legal Notice and issuing to retailers, Closure of all formalities with respect to Legal Notice, Handover to Leasing team.

e. Termination Notice: Preparing termination notice and issuing to retailers, Closure of all formalities with respect to termination notice followed by the surrender of lease process, Handover to Leasing Person

f. Revision of Standard Agreement from time to time and getting it approved from Legal Head & Leasing Head.

g. The firm agreed to depute an associate three times a week for two hours. The associate would visit the company's office to take stock of the work assigned and if possible, execute from the same place.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience/Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Management or Business

Desired experience 4-8 years- experience with at least 3 years- experience in handling Mall Operations Legalities

Knowledge and Skills

- To draft and vet legal/quasi legal documents

- To draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights

- To give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)

- To Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal Policies

- To evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

- To Draft, modify and implement company policies


Salary range - 8-10 LPA
