Job Title - Senior Manager (Finance) Division/Team - Finance Reporting to - Finance Director Line Management Responsibilities: - Directly responsible for Finance Executive Relationships: - Members of staff - Professional advisors (tax, lawyers, bankers) - Suppliers Overview Provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial information, analysis and support, including routine and non-routine reporting, to enable business decision making. Line management of one member of staff within the finance team. Main Duties and Responsibilities - Supporting the transfer of Finance function from third party to internal ownership - Day-to-day management of one member of staff - Controlling the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions, with support from the UK team as appropriate - Production of monthly P&L reports and management information for local business and also global parent company - Regular meetings with line managers to disseminate the MI, ensuring its accuracy and enabling their decision making. - Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. - Production of monthly dashboard reporting for management team including financial and non-financial metrics - Preparation of monthly payroll and all payroll year-end reporting to Tax and statutory authorities - Commercial sales and cost control support to team leaders - Producing local tax filings, making timely payments and driving compliance for all taxes including GST, Payroll and Corporate related taxes - Involvement in producing annual budget and ad-hoc re-forecasts - Timely completion of the annual statutory audit, internal audits and tax audits - Handling of the interactions with the Tax authorities in terms of assessments, etc if any - Handling the compliance with respect to foreign exchange RBI regulations and filing of the periodical reports and returns. - Handling the compliance with the corporate law maintenance of records and filing of the forms on a periodical basis - Continual assessment of procedures, processes and controls, implementing improvements to accuracy, quality and efficiency - Supporting any Bonus or Commission scheme as needed for staff - Maintain register for discounts and rebates to customers and suppliers and manage any required calculations and payments. - Support administration of company insurance requirements and relationships - As required, involvement with HR admin, Facilities Management and Health & Safety - Other tasks & duties as may reasonably be required for the holder of such a position Ideal Candidate - Qualified accountant - Previous experience in a position of similar seniority - Strong system skills including Excel - Experience of NetSuite desirable but not essential
