POSITION: Product Marketing Specialist

REPORTS TO : Senior Product Marketing Manager

EXPERIENCE : 4-5 Years (Negotiable if you still fit the bill)

EDUCATION : MBA in marketing from a front line business school

LOCATION : Bangalore, India

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Know the market - Develop a deep understanding of product, differentiators, buyer segments and audience needs/pains, buying behaviour and process, competitive landscape

- Content writing - Work with various stakeholders to create product and marketing content including pitch decks, datasheets, blogs, video assets, case studies, email pitch and so on. Coordinate the content and design elements, re-purpose the core content and get the best output and angles for social post and ads.

- New tactics - Contribute to adoption and scaling of new approaches to marketing, such as account based marketing, social selling techniques etc.

- Operationalize marketing programs - Execute marketing campaigns across all channels - offline and online, with the objectives of brand awareness and lead generation. Leverage digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, event marketing, search marketing, advertising, customer success marketing etc.

- Marketing measurements - Work with marketing operations and agencies to track effectiveness of marketing programs, conduct A/B tests, identify areas of improvement, and optimize campaigns to achieve set objectives

- Agency and third party liaising- work closely with the extended external teams to launch campaigns - including creation of landing pages, operate campaign calendar and execution. Coordinate with third party publications to operationalize content syndication and media buy programs

- Marketing systems and tools - basic understanding/ desire to learn tools used for email marketing, digital and social campaigns and reporting

- Oversee logistics for webinars, events, pre and post event invites, emails and digital campaigns

While this summarizes the key responsibilities, you will often need to interact with the wider ecosystem within and outside of Manthan, and this requires the ability to deal with people at all levels effectively. New ideas and initiatives that help with generating demand, and to move leads down the sales funnel will be appreciated.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE ROLE:

- 2-3 years of marketing/ business analyst experience, preferably in B2B

- Strong articulation and written, verbal communication skills

- Keen eye for detail, ability to work on content

- Hands on, willingness to learn and unlearn as the situation demands

- Experience working with global teams and stakeholders will be a plus

- Technology orientation and comfort
