ROLE : Product Manager - Merchandise Analytics REPORTS TO : Vice President and Head - Merchandise Analytics EXPERIENCE : 8-10+ Years EDUCATION : Engineering, MBA PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Own the vision, market and product requirements for Manthan's Merchandise Analytics Product - Gather and assimilate market, customer and competitive intelligence to develop the product strategy, functional specifications and ability to create concepts through wireframes and mockups - Own the product road map and release cycles for the product - Initiate and prioritize development within engineering, track product development and develop product launch plans - Serve as the internal and external evangelist of the product during pre -sales or deployment workshop and helps in responding RFP - Be the interface between engineering and deployment team for all customer specific requirements - Work with analyst, sales and marketing to drive the products- competitive position - Own product training for sales, deployment teams and channel partners - Bring thought leadership and provide content for marketing collateral and sales tool REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Graduate Degree in Engineering or Graduate / Post graduate Degree from NIFT / MBA from a front-line Business School - Strong understanding in advanced analytics in Retail such as Sales forecasting, Assortment optimization, Markdown optimization, Order optimization Industry experience in Fashion and Food & Grocer across retail formats. Fashion business experience is must. - Experience in retail technology in the merchandising domains - Understand the sources of data in retail - Any advanced analytics merchandising, or planning tool exposure would be added advantage - Ability to work with global, cross-location organizations in an entrepreneurial environment
