Purpose of the Job

To manage end to end brand development & management of all MVP Group products and services. Research market conditions and gathers information to determine potential sales of our products & services for branding and advertisement campaigns to create extra interest in our organization, product and services.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitors market trends, oversees advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for all our Home fragrance products.

- Plan, design & coordinate advertising and promotional materials to increase organization's visibility and promote sales of products & services by working with customers, company officials, sales departments and advertising agencies; as applicable.

- Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits

- Plan, direct, design, coordinate and inspect advertising policies and programs to produce promotional materials.

- Oversee the production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers as applicable

- Liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs & messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines

- Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.

- Gather data & information on competitors to understand their pricing, sales and method of marketing & distribution.

- Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace.

- Devise & evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, questionnaires, etc.

- Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

- Monitor and analyze program & strategies for sales promotion, marketing, advertising and communications results to determine cost-effectiveness and impact of promotion campaigns.

- Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design and pricing of company products and services.

- Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters and other professionals.

- Develop & implement procedures for identifying advertising needs and organize information to plan promotional campaigns.

- Confer with department heads and staff to discuss topics such as selection of advertising media and product details to be advertised.

- Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to field staff and customers.

- Formulate plans to extend business with established accounts and to transact business as an agent for advertising accounts.

- Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs that meet identified buyer targets such as dealers, distributors, or consumers.

- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.

- Read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning.

- Track program budgets and expenses and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign based on program objectives and industry norms.

- Manage branding team including goals setting, providing incentives and evaluating employee performance.

- Assemble and communicate with a strong, diverse coalition of organizations or public figures, securing their cooperation, support and action to further campaign goals.

Experience level

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the fields of Branding & advertising.

Preferably from Candle and Home Fragrance industry
