- Planning and arranging all domestic RM/PM as per Production/ Marketing requirement on time ensuring ZERO down time of plant due to want of RM/PM/CAPEX &amp; OPEX - Planning and arranging all import / trading material as per Production/ Marketing requirement on time. - Maintaining inventory based on lead time - Developing alternate material - Developing alternate vendor to avoid single source. - Negotiating with import suppliers and getting better price with payment terms - Price negotiation for bulk shipment, fixing up vessel for bulk, vetting with terminal - Handling / clearance of bulk shipment - Reviewing the import raw material / Blending /Catalyst stock with Oprn, R&amp; D &amp; Mktg. Dept., by conducting monthly meeting. - Co-ordinating with R &amp; D dept for new product developments by arranging samples as required by them. - Creating import Purchase Order /Good Receipt/Transfer order/Transfer Posting &amp; Interplant Stock transfer in SAP system. - Arranging Customs duty payment &amp; DO charges for all import raw materials based on Bill of Entry &amp; TR 6 challan received from C &amp; F agent. - If any short receipt in import material, lodging insurance claim and arranging claim settlement as per our norms. - Co-coordinating with all intra-department/inter-department on day-today activities for smooth flow of operation. - Conversant with all types of export process and procedures - Re-export of Quality rejected import material to supplier with Proper co-ordination with supplier / CHA /Customs - Finalizing the CHA contract &amp; CFS contract every year and enter into agreement with them. - Preparing comparative statement / Cost Worksheet and getting approval for all domestic, imported RM/PM/Capex/Opex from reporting authority / Management before releasing Purchase Order. - Co-ordinating with MPL strategic team and providing MIS data as per their requirement / request. - Domestic Procurement activities viz. Raw Material, Packing Material, CAPEX, OPEX, New vendor and new product development - Import Procurement activities viz., Raw material / CAPEX/Spares/ Blending Chemicals &amp; Catalysts and other new Vendor / material development activities. - Stores and weighbridge control and monitoring - Logistics - Inbound/outbound domestic and EXIM - Applying, renewal &amp; monitoring all Advance Licence with DGFT activities. To be conversant of FEMA, RBI guidelines in EXIM related activity/FOREX. - Customs activities, classification and all related activity including handling of DRI related activities. - Maintaining / renewing all Customs Bonded warehouse License every year and arranging Insurance. - C&amp;F contracts, Co-ordination with C &amp; F Agent, CFS &amp; Logistics on daily basis. - MIS, SAP
