Managing Director - French JV - Aerospace Industry

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.

- Ensure safety of the staff.

- Guarantee performance of the JV, especially regarding on time delivery, on quality delivery and profitability.

- Manage day-to-day operations: activity planning, material procurement and supply, recruitment and training of new employees, tool investments, operational team management, project review.

- Lead and motivate subordinates

- Recruit, organize and develop a performing team.

- Implement strong and robust processes with controls to guarantee good and stable performance.

- Promote JV to clients, industry and local organizations.

- Contribute to business development by listening to customers and meeting their expectations.

- Report to mother companies and the board the operational and financial results and all relevant information.

- Implement the strategic plan decided by the board.

Requirements

- Proven experience in industrial management, preferably in aerospace industry

- Good knowledge in electronic integration of wired sub-systems

- Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles

- Familiarity with various functions such as business, finance, human resources-

- Successful experience in French business environment

- Client-oriented mindset

- Organizational and leadership skills

- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Engineer and MBA preferred
