Our client is a Global company, into filtration solutions and power systems for clean air solutions for Gas Turbine and other turbomachinery, that provides exceptional standards of quality service. They have an established set up and footprint in India. They have been growing rapidly globally and need a strong Managing Director - India to fuel and sustain the growth in India.

Description

- Explores development opportunities (Inbound and Outbound) to grow and sustain business;

- Develops and nurture new and existing customers, partnerships and other market opportunities;

- Animates and controls the different actions in order to ensure the right commercial development, to increase the turnover and reach in the future a robust financial profitability of the subsidiary;

- Maintains a good working relationship with the Regional HQ

- Provides general oversight of all regular activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organisation;

- Identifying and reporting strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats to the company- Swot on the market

- Responsible for maintaining high standards of staff performance through good selection, proper pay practices, appropriate career development plans and good working environment

Profile

1. You have a (Master) Degree in Engineering (additional MBA is an asset)

2. You have at least 7-8 years of P&L management experience with a manufacturing company into industrial products and have managed a sizeable team

3. You have a proven record of leading a business & the ability to operate effectively across diverse cultural and business environments. You have knowledge of industrial sales and logistics and a good understanding of international management practices

4. You are fluent in English (written and spoken communication as well as in reading)
