Role Objective :
The role envisages heading and driving the Beverages business of the company - end to end-, that includes all aspects Operations control, Procurement of raw material, Production planning and monitoring, Sales & marketing, cost efficacy and P&L etc. The primary objective of the role is to strengthen & drive sales and thus increase the market share significantly to take the company to New position in Nigeria in next two years.
Principal Accountability :
This position will have the overall accountability to :
- Conceiving an aggressive long term growth plan
- Make, own and drive the business plan so that the Business grows as per the aforesaid long term plan
- Prepare Annual Operating plans year on year to ensure that growth actually happens.
- Lead and drive the team and inculcate high degree of motivation sense of belonging.
- To ensure adequate training is imparted to the local staff so that their skills remain updated and to train and mentor them.
- Develop Local talent to replace 20% expat roles in next two years

Special Requirement :
In depth knowledge of alcohol/ soft drinks and packaged water business dynamics in Nigeria.
Education : Degree in Engineering. A Diploma in Fermentation and Alcohol technology or MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience : Should have over 25 years of experience of which, 5 years should be as Business Head of an alcohol blending and bottling facility having a capacity of at least 1.5 million cases per month with pet/glass bottling/ can lines, packaged water lines and carbonised soft drink lines. Must have handled P&L responsibility and own P&L of a company of similar size (sales of at least 30M US$)
Nigerian / African exposure/knowledge is essential.
Reporting : Reports to Group MD. All functional heads and plant heads report into this role.
