Purpose of the Role: The role holder will lead the common Value Enhancement processes in Operations/Supply Chain/Procurement areas across the company. He will be a part of the MarVal Programme Management Office (PMO) and will be the Operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Procurement) lead for such initiatives and anchor the same across business units. Key Deliverables: - Ideate, co create and help implement Value Enhancement initiatives across India and International businesses - Build a suitable system for capturing ideas in a robust manner and taking them to fruition - Track and monitor the savings and act as Project Management Office (PMO) Member for the Marval project in order to deliver - Build capability in the organisation for continuous enhancement & institutionalization of the initiative - Evaluate business processes amenable to use of technology and Improve efficiency in such chosen business processes with the help of IT levers in order to drive value Reporting Relationships Upwards: Head - Value Enhancement Skills and Competencies - Functional: - Understanding the key levers of the FMCG Supply value chain - across Operations/Manufacturing, Commercial/ Supply Chain (front end) - Familiarity with cost levers and processes which drive the FMCG business - Strong analytical skills and ability to see big picture across various processes - Product and Process knowledge Behavioural: - Ability to leverage non reporting relationships and handle conflict - Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive change - Opportunity seeking behaviour Key Interfaces - Business interface with Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and technology (R&D, Quality), Sales functions - Interface with other members of the PMO in India and Unit PMO - Interface with IT teams
