Manager - US Taxation - Accounting Firm

Role and Responsibilities

1. Review of Federal tax returns, state tax returns and other foreign informational forms as prescribed by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) for US based clients

2. Require to identifying the books to tax adjustment based on the working papers and guide to team for the same

3. Manage client's engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects)

4. Responsible for research any of the new topics and advise team to provide appropriate tax treatment

5. Responsible for managing 8-15 team members in the team along with needs to make sure team will develop and perform as per their KRA

6. Responsibilities of providing training on business tax and individual tax returns to new hires and existing staff members

7. Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billings.

8. Responsible for monitoring engagement budgets hours vs actual hours.

9. Identify the new marketplace services opportunities and grow the Knowcraft tax practice.

10. Strong People leadership skills and leading by example

11. Develop and enhance personal technical knowledge and understanding of US tax laws

12. Proficient on Various US tax software and other Tax compliance tools

13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

14. Team Player, self-driven and ability to work Independently as well as able to motivate team members.

Requirement :

Job Requirements - Mandatory Skills/Qualification:

1. Minimum master's degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience. CPA will have additional advantages and preferred credentials

2. The candidate must have 8 plus years of relevant experience in a similar role

3. Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance

4. Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams

5. Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulations
