AVP - Insurance Strategy

Key objectives of the position:

Analyze and Manage the Insurance portfolio to optimize the premium paid and reduce the underwriting exposures/risk.

- Claim ratio calculation, monitoring and publishing the claim ratio dashboard.

- Holding primary discussions with key stakeholders (internally) along with Insurers, Reinsurers and Brokers for sharing findings and way ahead for programs/policies.

- Calculating and sharing pricings for new programs/policies along with suggesting Term conditions and warranties.

- Program/policy wise risk analysis.

- Regular reviews with Business and product teams. Suggesting and implementing required changes in the product/policy.

- Discussions with insurers/Reinsurers and brokers for regular renewal management and placement of new business.

- Preparing Program notes for Insurers to quote.

- Managing relationships with Insurers, Reinsurers and brokers.

- 6-8 years of experience in Underwriting. Should be working for a Insurance company or Insurance broker

MBA will be added advantage

- Ability to engage with Employees across levels

- High level of empathy with good listening skills

- Strong people skills to assess behavioral & values alignment

- Highly skilled in process management with eye for detailing

- Vendor management experience to get desired SLA output
