- Create and implement training plan based on training budgets and training requirements for manufacturing facility.
- Maintain contact with each department for a clear understanding of their training needs.
- Ensure training manuals are developed for the various manufacturing processes.
- Run regular induction programs for all new hires to bring them up to speed.
- Ensure all safety, quality and compliance training targets are met.
- Maintain post-training evaluation system to ensure training effectiveness of different programs.
- Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
- Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
- Research new training and development practices, methods and technology available in the market. Maintaining close contact with local training agencies, external consultants, and organizations to keep information up-to-date.
- Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
- Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
- Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
