Trade Marketing Manager - India Business
The Trade marketing manager will be responsible for preparing and implementing annual Trade Marketing strategy for the assigned regions/customers
The incumbent is responsible for -
- Making sellouts plans to achieve agreed Market Shares (in respective product categories)
- Making processes to monitor the sellouts
- Planning and implementing promotion calendars
- Preparation & implementation of Go to Market plans (for new products/customers)
- Working on plans to generate trials (across categories)
- Responsible for merchandising, share of shelf, visibility in the shops
- Maintaining trade marketing budgets
- Maintaining competitive intelligence
- Initiating and implementing Category management activities
- Handling agencies (activation, manpower, creative) among other related activities
Detailed description of the KRA's are :
- Modern Trade & Cash and Carry
- Finalisation of Annual/Quarterly/Monthly promotions plan with the respective Modern trade/CNC accounts
- Timely execution of the above in accordance with the agreed objectives & budgets
- Deep analysis of the data leading to Zone/city/store wise market share in each of the product category we operate
- Plans for increasing offtakes in premium categories of products
- Identifying areas of improvement and subsequent actions thereafter (with respect to Market share, product gaps, pricing gaps)
- Identifying target customer groups
- Analysis of low/less profit making SKU's and plans to mitigate
- Preparation of trade marketing budgets and constant monitoring versus the spends
- Preparation of plan encouraging trials with the objective of gaining new customers
- Competition mapping & circulating reports to stake holders (including pricing, new launches, offers/schemes)
- Complete handling & responsibility for Rice Advisor module including -
- Achieving targets
- Deployment
- Reviews
- Incentives
- Training
- Using technology to streamline the reporting/information process
- Preparations of Go To Market plans for the new launches
- Focus on the different kinds of customers groups (Retailers, Food service customers for e.g. in case of Cash & carry) and appropriately building plans to initiate trials and eventually gaining Market Share in those segments
- Initiate category management/planograms process for Future Group. Replicate this plan in other chains.
- Assist business head in the preparation/implementation of the expansion(s) plan.
