Manager - Taxation

The Finance and Accounts team is responsible for all summary, analysis and reporting for financial transactions. It involves preparations of financial statements, keeping records of purchase and sales and a lot more

The role requires a professional approach to carry out responsibilities independently, with integrity and to best of your capabilities in a professional manner.

Main emphasis is to protect the interests of the company, its promoters and its brand at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Handling Direct and Indirect Taxation for the Company,

- Gathering the data from ERP system, required for submission to Tax Authorities like Tax Returns, Forms etc.

- Filing of Income Tax, TDS, TCS, Sales Tax, Service Tax, Excise Returns, Luxury tax, PT, PF & ESIC for the Company on time and handling the relevant formalities for the various acts.

- Representing the Company in assessments/ appeals & revisions to various tax authorities

- Ensuring no late filing penalties in any tax heads and ensuring timely submission of data to various tax authorities

- Identify tax saving measures and implement

- Co-ordinate in the Internal Audit process, Statutory Audit process and Risk Management process for the company.

- Provide support and assistance in any other activities within the F&A domain, as required by CFO

- 3-5 years of experience in any Hospitality Industry.

- Self-starter with a persistent attitude

- Problem solving ability

- Must exhibit a strong learning curve and an eye for detail,

- Preference for a candidate having ERP working knowledge

- Good Communication Skills
