Direct Taxation Profile

1. Verification / Monitoring, filing of Income Tax Returns for group companies .

2. Ensuring Tax audit, report filing

3. Co-ordinating with external auditors and compile the workings, verification and finalizing with auditors on transfer pricing study

4. Calculate, verify the TDS/TCS on monthly basis with books of accounts and returns filing for resident and non-resident. Issue of TDS / TCS certificate and address the queries / defaults

5. Support and assist statutory auditors with all Direct Tax issues

6. Submission of documents w.r.t. Dept. audit / appeal / reply to Dept. queries

7. Rapport building with Dept. officials

8. Organize collection of TDS / TCS certificate's and also reconciliation with 26AS and complete the reco with books

9. Periodical preparation of advance tax computation

10. Keep updating the changes in IT, study the impact and communicate to Management and concerned team.

11. Developing SOPs & automize the process in IT systems

12. Risk analysis & mitigations

13. Handling the projects on new tax implication and implement the same (eg. Equalization levy, MAP, APA)

14. Risk analysis on foreign company transactions

15. Assessments and closure within time

16. Overall responsible for tax compliance

Indirect Taxation Profile

1. Co-ordinate with the team and ensure to process the GST & EOU monthly / quarterly / annual returns within time

2. Guide team to resolve Customs / EOU & GST queries and implement checks during filing of returns

3. Develop internal control compliance

4. Report compliance

5. Risk analysis

6. Address all Dept. queries and audits

Should be good with IT systems (SAP / Excel / Power point etc)
