This requirement is for an Environment Management Organization Location - Gurgaon RM - CFO Key Responsibilities - Will be responsible for leading Direct &amp;Indirect tax team - Tax advisory and opinion on various projects and new ventures undertaken by organization, review of agreements from tax perspective - Responsible for timely compliances and completion of audit (Statutory audit, Internal Audits &amp; audits by Government authorities) without any adverse remarks - Handling all the business queries w.r.t. GST, Customs or other allied tax laws - Strive to improve tax efficiency of the organization by tax planning and creating appropriate holding structures of the group companies. - Automation of current processes to the extent possible in current environment to ease out routine work. - Responsible for GST compliances, payment of taxes, filing of GST Annual returns and reconciliation - Handling various grants and benefits, both state and centre level, eligible to the organisation and timely receipt of incentives - Handling notices or enquiry received from any tax authority or local government departments and representing before the authorities for issues faced by the organization - Attending assessments, appeals, revisionary proceedings, investigations, summons pertaining to critical issues faced from Tax Department, working with Advocates and Tax Consultants and advising management on the best course of action to be followed - Handling Litigations and drafting replies to show cause notices. Ensure timely submissions in response to notice received from departments - Preparing MIS reports required by various internal and external stakeholders for reporting Skills/Exp - CA with 6-8 years of experience in handling above job profile. - Preferably from manufacturing / FMCG / Waste Management would be preferable For any other query, one may
