Manager - Taxation - eCommerce Startup - CA

Role:

- Will be part of the finance team reporting into Finance Controller.

- The Manager - Taxation will ensure full compliance of Direct and Indirect Tax provisions and will:

- Ensure timely and correctly computation and payment of Direct and Indirect Taxes on a periodical basis and filing of relevant returns.

- Coordinate Audits, Assessments and Litigation Management with external consultants.

- Actively seeks out information / data from cross functional teams and reconciliation of Revenue, Purchase, Output GST & Input GST with Financials Preparing and providing schedules to Statutory Auditors and Accounting team.

- Advise various stakeholders and business partners on various business initiatives and tax optimization. Update latest development & changes in GST Act with appropriate departments and implementation of such changes within organization

- Strategize and implement Tax integration framework for all group entities to a centralized tax framework.

- Plan and organizing for the execution of a variety transfer pricing engagements and defend transfer pricings in audit and prepare documentation.

- Enhance technical skills by remaining up-to-date on trends, new legislative developments and tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex situations relevant to the business.

Experience:

- Qualified chartered accountant with minimum 3-4 years of experience in Taxation.

- Candidates with experience in working with Big 4, Internet, or E-Commerce businesses will be preferred.
