Company : A leading NBFC of a Top conglomerate

Position : Manager - Taxation

Location : Chennai

Qualification : C.A.

Proficiency : MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook & Visio

Experience : 5 - 7 years of experience. Added advantage if associated with an NBFC / BFSI.

Key Responsibilities:

- Computation of Tax Liability, Filing of Returns both under existing Indirect Tax Laws and Direct tax laws

- Review Legal contracts with clients from tax point of view

- Keep an update of various case laws and statutory changes

- To Review & assist in timely finalization of various tax payments and returns

- Preparation of replies to the notices from the department and handling of the audit, scrutiny, inspections for Sales tax, Income tax, GST etc.

- Liasoning with the Departmental Officers as and when required basis

- Interaction with Accounts and other teams on tax-related matters

- Ensuring minimum statutory audits queries & irregularities pointed by internal audit

Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant Professional with 5-7 years of experience

- A good understanding and knowledge of indirect taxes and direct taxes including GST laws, VAT, Income tax and other critical taxes

- Basic computer skills, including Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Written

- Ability to work well with other departments within the company required
