- Knowledge in the field of Direct tax and Indirect tax :

- Coordination for Income tax scrutiny and assessment, Coordination for Service tax related matters, Filing of Income Tax return and Service tax returns. Basic knowledge of Goods and Service Tax. The activities covered under this would include:

- Computation, payment of income tax and co-ordination of tax returns with assessments

- Ensure full tax compliance in the organization and maintain regulation amendments from time to time including indirect tax (GST).

- Ensure correct and timely filing of all tax returns, forms, payment of taxes etc.

- Liaise with tax departments and tax consultants for assessments, notices etc.

- Coordination with respect to various legal opinions/matters.

- Preparation of Business Plan of Company and preparation of financial statements and various MIS.

- Additionally assisting in preparation of branch costing/profitability, RBI reporting, generation of various MIS reports for the management, fixed assets accounting etc

- Liasioning with the Statutory and Internal Auditors.

- Preparing the presentations / details for Board Meetings.

Qualifications :

Essential Desirable :

- C.A Experience in tax (Direct/Indirect) related matters and familiarity with Mutual Fund environment.

Person Specifications :

- Candidate should be proactive and should have ability to think through.

- Should have good communication skills and should be proficient with Word, Excel & email.

- Knowledge of working in ERP environment.

- Basic knowledge of Capital Market environment/Mutual Fund function(desirable).

- High enthusiasm & willingness to learn.

- Knowledge of IFRS would be treated as an added advantage.

- Should be a good team player and self motivated.
