A candidate who is self-driven, Analytical, adheres to timelines &amp; result focused with 6 -8 years of experience in direct &amp; Indirect taxation. Job Description Designation: Manager Taxation. Educational Qualifications: C. A. Experience: 6-8 years in Indirect Taxation post qualification Key Skill: Sound knowledge of Direct Taxation &amp;Indirect Taxation including GST, Service Tax, VAT, Sales Tax. Roles and Responsibilities: Indirect Tax : - To ensure timely and correctly computation and payment of GST liability monthly for multiple states - To ensure timely and correctly filing of all monthly GST Returns for multiple states. - Filing of Annual GST returns. - Ensuring optimal utilization of input GST credit. Performing requisite activities on portal for Availment of GST credit. - To deal with vendors on Rejected/pending line items on GSTN portal and monthly reconciliation of the same. - Preparing and providing schedules to Statutory Auditors/Accounting team. - Responsible for GST query/Audits/assessments including service tax/VAT assessment/audit/litigation for pre-GST period. - Well versed with GSTN portal and various functionalities available on the portal. - Tracking changes in GST act, rules, case Laws procedures and take appropriate action - Reviewing existing agreements, procedures and suggest changes to optimize GST incidence. Direct Tax : - Monthly Tax Provisioning - Handling Tax Audit and filing of Tax Audit Report - Handling Transfer Pricing and Filing of Transfer Pricing Report. - Handling Assessments and litigation. - Making Application for Lower TDS deduction certificate. - Customer/Vendor Contract validation. - Preparing Tax MIS. General - The candidate should have prior experience of working in SAP environment. - The candidate should have good communication skill and should be able to interact with Internal stakeholders, Customers, Vendors, Auditors, Tax Authorities.
