Assistant Manager- Taxation

Your Role:

Manager- Taxation will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for the organization across the GCC countries. The person should have a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations and will play a critical role in ensuring the company's tax compliance while optimizing tax strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant taxes, in compliance with the tax laws of GCC countries

- Monitor changes in tax regulations across the GCC region and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.

- Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities to handle tax-related matters and resolve any tax-related issues.

- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to maximize tax benefits and minimize tax liabilities

- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to management.

- Advise on the tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and cross-border operations

- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations in the GCC countries and maintain transfer pricing documentation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and monitor intercompany transfer pricing policies.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tax-related transactions, payments, and documentation

- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.

- Manage tax audits and assessments conducted by tax authorities in the GCC countries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

- Keep the finance and relevant teams informed about changes in tax laws and regulations

- Collaborate with finance teams in budgeting and forecasting activities, considering tax-related expenses and liabilities.

Education & Experience:

CA Qualified

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in tax management, with a strong focus on tax laws and regulations

- Comprehensive knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and transfer pricing

- Proven ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide strategic tax solutions

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders across the GCC countries.
